Yup, both are a good spec - I'd go with the Sony cos you get Nero 7 with it...... They'll both be much of a sameness when it comes to quality..... I got an LG DVD-R/RW DVD-RAM CD-R/W drive off ebay a few months ago for £20 - works fine.....
