I will try to answer all the questions in one post
I will be using the car for occasional road use and track days...
I am likely to not rev too high ... say 5-7K, and I know track days just tempt you to hold it flat...
Sounds like I can use the car with standard set up if I don't get that lead foot... I have double valve springs, still looking for reasonably priced cams ... Is that the right setup for the cams.
I can deal with the rattle knowing its for the right reason, had solids in an old push rod six cylinder years ago...
Those 1.8 diesel ones sound good as the aftermarket ones were ten times that cost..., can you direct me to where to get those ones... Is their an exact spec on the lifters / shims that I can use to be sure I get the right lifters and shims please...
