I see a lot of adverts for hydraulic lifters but few for solid lifters.
When do you need / have to have solid lifters. I am looking at BD16+ inlet and BD14 exhaust cams, I have the double valve springs, looking for the cams still ...
Do I -
- not require
- nice to have
- have to use solid lifters
Currently I think they are nice to have if I can find some at a reasonable price... But I hardly ever hear of people buying / selling them...

If I should get them, what do you recommend, Ive found some new ones, others say they have modified hydralic ones... I guess it depends on the size of your wallet

Any advice based on your experience guys ?
