Fair comments, but part of the appeal for me is the style of the things, so I'll spec it properly and buy one. I'll be getting it from the US as I did a test earlier and the same spec when converted works out about £200 cheaper.

Linux doesn't really hold much appeal for me. The MAC I think is going to be ideal for picture and video editing which the girlfriend and I are both interested in.
