Hello all. I thought I'd introduce myself.
I am the proud owner of a (2 actually same color/engine but bone stock) 1976 Capri II 2.3L 4 cylinder turbo.
The car started life as a bone stock 2.3L 4 speed car. In the USA the Capri II got either a 2.8L V6 or an 88HP all iron (head and block) 2.3L 4 cyl. Similar to the 2.0 Pinto (OHC), but shares no parts...totally different engine.
The car's current specs are:
Car
-1" lower 40% stiffer springs and rear leafs
-Koni Yellows
-26MM front sway bar
-Poly bushes
-Power steering
-2.8i V6 spec brakes (front and rear) with EBC greenstuff pads in front
-Braided brake hoses
Drivetrain
1988 EFI turbo 2.3L engine
-Aluminum big valve head (1.59 intake, 1.89 exhaust)
-.520 lift Stage II turbo cam
-Ported Intake
-adjustable cam sprocket
-Stainless exhaust header
-Spearco intercooler
-2.5" mandrel bent exhaust
-Large V8 Aluminum (Griffin) radiator
-T3/T4 Hybrid .50 trim
-Tial 35mm wastegate
-65LB injectors
-Holley Commander 950 programmable EFI
-1988 borg warner T5 turbo transmission
-stock Capri axle (no LSD!!!)
She basically still looks like this. Those are 15" Enkei rims with 225/50/ 15s
which rub only when going backwards and turning for some reason.
Tuned VERY poorly the car layed down 258HP 291TQ at the wheels at 18PSI.

Engine not quite done from the latest bout of mods
