Benni on the particular lap we were on, we really didn't suffer any traffic that i recall, it was the total end of the long weekend and the track was perfect and Mike was driving very well. If we lost any time to traffic it was a very small amount. I kinda recall Mike saying we lost time on the uphill section but I just can't remember it. I think we only passed a handful of cars the whole lap and considering our pace, that was a real sign of how quiet it was.

I am pretty sure that it would be possible for Mike and his car on both of their best days to drop into the 7's. I believe that the bhp we had at the time was not the amount that Mike has subsequently seen out of the car.

To keep it in context, I am hoping to get into the 7's next time I am there too. I just need to find 14 seconds and moving from totally standard road tyres to something more track orientated like cups etc and perhaps running 1 person instead of a passenger, I expect that will take care of it.

So a reasonable basicly modded M3 should be able to get into the 7's with me at the wheel. So its not exactly an impossibility.
