I was actually told this buy my girlfiends, best mate's dad, lol, who owns A1 gearboxes.

I have taken it very steady running mine in. but once I got to 800 miles I was told about this, that it needs load etc so I have been using some boost up through the gears occasionally. Still couldnt thrash it though. just too scared!! not without at least changing the oil first!
