Paulo, How did you get that shine on the alloy,

My method so far has been

1) Rub alloy with 1200 wetndry,

2) 2 coats of white primer,

3) 3 Coats of Simoniz 5 wheel paint (To dark)

4) 2 Coats of Clear Lacquer.

I have found that this method has left the alloys very dull looking and the surface is quite rough to touch, do I sand in between the paint and lacquer stage.

All advice is much appreciated.
