Possible, but would not recommend it especially if there's immobilisation involved. The quality of the installation is more important than the alarm itself (IMO) and you'll have a job doing it without good 'electrical skillz'. In my experience a pro would charge a fair bit to 'unwire it' too.

What alarm is it?
