yeah i'd say definitely worth rebuilding the lot, while its in bits being rebored everything will have already been removed... it'd be a shame imo to refit a tired oil and water pump etc

and as for the to end... if you rebuild the head so the valves are all nicely lapped in, new seals etc and a good quality head gasket... there should be no reason to ever strip the engine again... unless you want headwork/uprated valve springs or the engine shits itself
