ok did away with the sky but can still get the free channels but ya get more on digital , did a check to see if i could get freeview in my area and came back that i could so got a £30.00 box from tesco and bought a new 48 eliment wideband ariel set it all up and put the ariel in the loft as thats were the old one was , turned everything on and i can get all the channels, some i get at full strenth and all the channels look better than sky, the problem i have is that i struggle to get itv1 at full strenth i get it at about a quater strenth then some times it cracks up but what bugs me is its spot on some times and then the signal drops , so bought a 25db uhf masthead amplifier and 12v power supply set it all up and ... no change at all ? whats all that about ? the thing is now i have to have the power supply pluged in for the tv to work,, why or some channels spot on and others crap? my next step is to move the ariel out side and get some CT100/H109F digital coaxal, any help on this guys, ive also done a check on how far away the trasmitter is and its 44 miles
