A friend of mine had third party only insurance was hit by a drunk driver and was badly injuried but the driver who crashed into him didn't admit fault for 3months, because there were no witnesses it couldn't be proved what exactly happened. But as a result of the crash my friends car took a lamp post out of the ground and caused alot damage to other third party objects, due to the fact it was his car that hit the other objects and the drunk driver hadn't admitted fault my friend was liable for the costs. If he had of been fully comp he could of claimed on his own insurance to cover the cost of the damage he caused untill the other driver admitted fault.
