There are differences between the SIR and uk type r and then difference between the UK ITR and JDM Type R.

The one to go for is either the UK ITR and the 98 Spec JDM type R.

The UK one comes in RED, Black or White.

JDM ones come in White, Black, Red, Silver and uber cool Yellow with Yellow Recaros.

With DC2 they are very reliable but make sure the one you buy has a full service history and as original as possible with out a bolt on Tat.
