from what i know the older dc2 type r motors are hand built and hand ported/polished as race engines would be, its a much stronger motor and performance even 20bhp more would be a lot more noticeable, also the suspension setup etc would probably be different opposed to the lower spec models personally i would get a dc2 type r and go all out, they look a lot better aswell!
