I know its only an old van but its the principle, and the fact like most people who hit others cars and drive off, think get away with it and not accept responsibility - sadly the witness didn't leave his name and address, just passed the reg number of our van hit and the car that hit it to the security guys.

I reported over the phone to the police straight away and got an incident number, will follow up with my local station

Its not really the money/repair side of things, just the lack of respect and stupidity - I know they didn't plan on hitting anything, but by the action of 'fucking about' sliding around near peoples property you are creating that risk
