Im on the good old Atlas on mine with Grp1 shafts and ZF diff. Not sure if it would take your sort of power, but either way they are about £2k to build nowadays, mine was £1200 5 years or so ago and seems to do the job.
A few other escorts are running 8" axles with good results, and they have a wide range of diff ratios
