Agreed fully - I had standard comp, standard head and cams, Greys, NMS map, T34 .63.
Punchy as hell, great to drive all the time. Was 371 bhp and felt the quickest most of the time even compared to my later 420 and 467 bhp conversions.
Shame the engine was on 100k + miles and was using more oil than petrol. Should have kept it as it was though - could have saved a fortune.
Although 467bhp was fun when on song....
