Sorry... thats me not explaining things... i meant when the engine is built with turbo inlet etc on and it all runs,
For instance a large turbo can surge partly because of not enough VE etc so would adjusting the cam timing make the engine more efficiant at different rpms? ie giving it more midrange than top end.
And if the cam timing worked that way is there anything else that can work?
Just after seeing rods turbo post about the size of it.
I also remember euan saying ava did some testing on cam timing to give power till the 8000rpm but would that not sacrifice some midrange etc.
