gotta admit it seems to run a hell of a lot smoother since flushing the crap. Quite surprised to be honest as cant see how it related. Just remembered though i forgot to put anti-freeze in. Bugger! Looks like i'm flushing again tomorro.

At this point in time the gauge not working so will have to look at it. U think it sounds ok? I'm sure the expansion lid would have released after that much driving if it was hot. Whats the best way to make sure there no air in system??

After that test run i waited bout 5 mins then edged the cap off rad and expansion. It didn't over flow. Is that good or bad. The water in expansion tank was very warm but i wouldn't say boiling.
