They normally just have a little split pin to hold the sliders dont they?

Mate of mine fitted them to his pug 205 track car, which is ONLY used for trackdays and driving to/from. He wishes he hadnt done it (noise), and advised me to keep the glass in mine... You'd be surprised how light a Mk4 rear quarter window is anyway, although i suspect youre not doing it for weight saving!
