the windscreen on the mondeo has srupng a leak, from the top somewhere where it joins onto the body in the corner

will it need to come out and be refixed into place again or will a screen fitter be able to just bung some of that black glob into the gap and make it water tight?

if it's the former, new windscreen time me thinks as i'm not sure removing it won't break it, especially if it's bonded like most screens are now
