I don't understand the problem, what i do is:

- Ring the insurnace company up prior to viewing and give them all the details of the new vehicle and they'll store it on a temp file and get a quote number, i always do this as i say that i will be in a remote area and on a mobile so i'll need to be quick when starting the policy

- If you buy the car ring them up quoting the number and card details and they'll cover you from that second

- Documents are a thing of the past mate, the police know if the cars insured before they put the lights on, i know it happened to me last week

What car is it mate??? are you going for a cosworth???
