my mate does 3 or 4 days a week up at the airport, but he used to work there full time and now goes in and asks if ther eis work
if it's worth the effort and there is good mone to be made he hires a van, does the drop, then returns the van again

most places will charge you around £40 - £50 a day unlimited mileage and insurance etc so that's chapear than forking out on a new motor, plus you get breakdown cover thrown in for those "just in case" moments

as for the hgv stuff, i passed my class 2 way back in 95, my psv in 96 so i can drive a 4 axle (with hiab) about the place and a coach and trailer (i think it's D+E ? ), but it's been about 3 years since i last saw my license so i might be wrong
