im going to be seeing a car with the hope to be buying it this Saturday. The seller is down in Skegness, and after viewing i will either have to go home without car or buy on the spot and return home with the car. I will not be making two return trips down and back as it will be over 1200miles.

I am after a short term insurance that can be taken out a very short time prior to purchase (a few days max), and to cover me for 48hours, fully comprehensive. Are there such things available? What criteria has to be met by the driver, and will it cover high insurance group cars? Also how can i attain an insurance certificate for the vehicle? I technically will not own the car at the time of sorting out the insurance for it, will i still be able to be covered?
