id try a hard reset if still no joy as it work on range rovers and most newish fords to clear fault codes if they are not present faults.
disconnect both the negative and positive leads to battery, leave for 1min then place a bar of metal in between them (the leads NOT the battery) easiest thing to use is a long 3/8th extension bar and leave for 2 mins. do this when ever i manage to beach a range on a ramp at work and someone else is using the diag computers on another car, not saying it will 100% work but it may as it clears everything off our cars and the software is fords IDS so it could work, certainly wont do any harm to try it?
