in all honesty if you are going for good pics like that and a good lens you need a good tripod too.shooting in raw isnt the best imo.you should be taking pics properly rather than adjusting them in a photoshop.

if you are taking pics of track racing.use shutter priority at around shutter speed 125th of a sec for panning pics like above.


christian,are you using themshonky icon options on the top selection button? as they are really a complete waste of time. really to get good pics you should be using apperture priority or shutter priority.

the icons,ie landscape,portrait,sport etc dont really do much to make the pic different.and are you using maual focus or auto focus?
