Its not all about BHP.... these 2.7 V6 Bi-Turbo engines produce alot of torque... plenty enough for him to pull 198 at Brunters.
Torque has nothing to do with it.
For a start at 198mph he was doing something like 7k+ rev's tell me how much the torque the engine was making at that point? I can tell you for a fact the bhp is higher at that point
It's crazy how.

Ironically, torque seems to sell car's now and BHP is still winning races.
A f1 car has something like 250ft/lbs of torque. My next door neighbours 307 diesel probably produces about the same.
