on my cvh engine ive got a mk3 dipstick and tube.. (does this mean its a mk3 engine or just mk3 items fitted?)

could i change them both to mk4 items?

just that the dipstick now wobles about and imo doesnt seem accurate, but it is a mk3 diptick in a mk3 tube...

could anyone shine some light on this please..
