Not uploaded any pics etc for a while, just been checking other peoples stuff out! So thought i would share what i've been doing. Mainly, sound system in mine, retrieving my lost fuel cap and helping best buddy out with his scooby which he crashed a week or so back. So my story in pictures goes a bit like this......

With the weather being nice i decided it was a good day to get my sound system sorted as i'd bin running around with just the radio for a while, then upon changing the battery i got locked out from that as i did not have the code etc etc same old story, so the CD player and Sub were removed from the XR3 as i'm stripping her out completely anyway, so i thought why just have it all sitting in a bedroom somewher, i may aswell wack it in the daily runner!!



Laid the wiring through the car so i had the seats out up front and pulled the carpet right back, revealing that the floor was nearly 100% solid, which was nice to know, a lot different to the XR!









So with that all done, it was time to fit some better speakers. As you can see from picture 1, the door cards are off and still are as the front speakers are going to be fitted to them but they need some playing with first, so its 6 x 9's in just for now along with the sub. The shelf was trimmed in red to match!!!

Yea, and heres my makeshift fuel cap for a day when i discovered i had left my cap at the garage from filling up the night B4!!! Big thanks to mum for going down and finding it for me!!!!

New alloys were aquired last sunday (when all the sound system had to come out the escort in order for them to fit!!) bumper is being repaired, next is to fit new wishbone arm and get her all straightened out!!
