depends when u passed ur car test?

correct me if im wrong but if u passed before 1997 then u can tow anything up the the weight limit for ur car. eg my landrover could pull a 3.5ton trailer legally

if u passed after 1997 you can only tow a trailer up to 750kg (bout 3/4 ton) so basically an unladen trailer
