If its the orig ones then they are mechanically really good,

Main problem is rust, mostly found under the mat/carpet in the boot.
CHECK THAT AREA!!! trust me, also the rear seatbelt mounts at the arch/doors can get rust near them, chassis can rust and the arches and door bottoms can get bubbly as well.

If its a good one then a decent wax oil done professionally then it will halt any rust and boost life expectany of the car by years.

Is it a petrol or v8? you can get 200tdi and 300tdi turbodiesel engines, both are good and a decent intercooler and pump tweak can get an extra 25bhp from them.
