before i go on, i know its in the wrong room, but i have seen livelier grave yards ( the pc room)

i have just purchased a cheap lappy from PC wank, ( advent 5601 iirc) and i can get it to connect to my wireless connection indoors!!

do i have to enable the wireless adapter ?

how can i check if it has one??

running vista home premium!
