I suppose it depends on how much free cash you have available. I like nice clothes will spend over £100 on a pair of jeans, jumpers, or shoes. But I'm careful how many items i'll buy.

The same goes for cars.

However, I have a hard time justifying (to the wife) some of the things I buy for the R5 or the cars I buy
