Once we have the block stripped to make sure we have no more damage and we get the results back from the head then will know the full extent of the damage.
Then Mark can have a look at what we have salvaged and what we needs to be done.
If its just block and machine work that wont be such of a blow maybe change out of 5k

I reckon you should find yourself a std size bore s'hand block, bore it to 91mm with new pistons and re-assemble. Obviously the replacement block will need machining for long studs but it would be cheaper and a much quicker option, depending on Marks work load you should be able to see it back on the road in 2/3 weeks.
