you need a firewire card thats all and the link cable from your camera to your pc.

i have the mv600i, its a doddle to download from them. for easy quick editing (basic) i have Ulead movie factory 2 (very easy to use), and for more sophisticated editing etc you want something like the latest Pinnacle or similar.
