by sounds of it there not much wrong with your car, running a fairly big turbo on a little 1.6, full boost under 3k is decent, and you cant expect to boot it at 2k in top and it fly.

hell, if you had a non turbo 2litre or similar and booted it at that revs itd not go anywhere either.

only cars that shift at no revs have small turbos or are big capacity.
