I thought the problem with the Turkish blocks was todo with wall thickness between the bores, if to fit the liners you have to machine that out anyway surely any block would be just as weak. Or is it that the overall casting is weaker due to the casting process, if your going to be running liners again dave you may manage to pick up a cheaper block that has damage to the standard bores.
