when the generation come along which is used to duel fuel, and reclaimed energy systems. I expect the desire to own a shonky old ricer such as a Skyline with poor fuel consumption may be less desirable than it is to us today, specially if fuel costs keep rising
thought about this today, and to be honest the way fuel costs are rising and lets face it will never go down, supply of petrol will eventually get less and less. the only future classics will be the ones that the very rich will be able to run. the motor industry will then depend on the bio/dual fuel cars of tommorrow. so in essence if everyone kept the car they own now they will all be future classics but only to the people that could afford to run them, if the desire was there to own one
