hi aaron

as said to you on pm , all of these diffs that have been mensioned the weak point will be the cwp

the uprated VC and with the uprated planet gears is the cheapest option

i dont what power the uprated planet gears can take ? they haven't let go in the rally cars

this diff works really well for better handling and traction as the VC unit is uprated nearly by 10 times more preload than standard

ATB quafie im not a fan on the ATB it is a good diff as it does away with the planet gears (one less thing to break)

the only reason i am not keen on it is for the simple fact on track if a wheel is not in contact with the ground you will NOT have any drive untill that wheel makes contact with the ground again

good diff all the same kind of fit and forget

my personal choice is a plated diff that is because i use to have plated diff yrs ago in my mk1 and mk2 escorts and they were the bollox never broke one

I have had the gripper plated diff in my car for the last 8yrs (7.5" version) and have never broke it yet , in that time i have had one set of plates and had the diff serviced 4times (thats check only after a season of absue)

its not a fit and forget you will have to change the plates at some point as they wear out

even at 450 bhp you will not break the actual unit you might break the cwp and that goes for all of these diffs
