The engine has lots of character imo. It’s unbelievably quiet on tick over, while cruising round down at 2,000RPM gives a distinctive "vwhrum" noise and is incredibly smooth even at sub 1000 rpm. Then as the revs build a growl starts to appear at 3,000RPM and as it gets to 4,000RPM the DSI kicks in, the induction note deepens and then it will fuck off to the redline
