i thought this, i post on here a bit, but i dont own a ford and although i like learning about cars, i unfortunately wouldnt benefit from spending £20, as tbh if the site wasnt here i jsut wouldnt use it...

but i dunno, perhaps if you did say a 30 day no fee initial trial, whereby new members got access all areas, no biggie if someone is going to use the site to sell their car once, if they sell it, they are going to remember the site and if they want to use it again im sure they would be happy to pay to have the service again, as people pay for ebay etc...

perhaps as someone suggested you did a £10 then you would get more people paying, im not saying £20 is a lot cos id quite happily spend £20 but i think it does seem a lot to pay for the extra benefits, as you can get most of the access for free, so some people may say why bother?

or maybe if it wasnt too much hassle do a quaterly or monthly thing then it doesnt seem so much if u paid say £1.50 a month or £5 per quarter?

i dont think limiting the usage for non paying people would be beneficial as you will get people who will be turned away from teh site because they arent going to know its good or that they will have a laugh with the people here...

i appreciate that you need peoples money to keep the site running, but how about doing things at shows, that will promote the site and raise money, i dunno what... or maybe some of the proceeds of the calander going to keeping the site running.. im sure a newspaper will pick up the story if its done properly and thats good publicity too...

just an idea....

but great work guys
