A correctly spec'ed GT turbo set up is better there no doubt about that its a all round better turbo,
You can make the older type turbo's work well but they wont match a GT,
When you see these hybrid T4 turbo's they are now not a T4 most will swap bearing housings or but diff type/GT compressor wheels on to the back of a T4 wheel, So you cant call it a T4 but maybe a T4GT but its not a T4.
