They would fit the new tyres,

He would leave Kames and do about 15 minutes of road miles (simulating driving from service to stage),

Come back and do 15 mins non-stop around Kames (simulated Tarmac stage length),

Go back out and do another 15mins road miles,

Then come back in and scream it around Kamesz for another 15 mins!

At every point before and after each test they would take tyre pressures and temperatures!

I never knew tyres could get that hot until I touched the tyres as they were removed from the car!
