the webber l1 l6 and l8 are speed density mapped the act correction basicaly scrolls the pressure points up or down with act
so moving the act sensor to the intercooler will give a different air temp reading to the stagnent air in the plenum at heat soak times
as i stated earlier heat soak is more of an issue from the heat radiating from the rad to that excellent heat excanger called an intercooler
