At the risk of sounding like a weirdo in light of that car shagging program the other night, that VW looks the nuts
Back on topic, bearing in mind ive spent the last 18-24 months pissing about with a Mk3 bodyshell but not doing a RWD conversion and its only just gone for paint, i wouldnt bother unless:
1. You are very competent at that kind of thing and can do all the fabrication in a matter of weeks, or:
2. You have a LOT of spare time, even more patience, and bugger all else to do!
Personally looking back at my project, i shouldnt have done it. I should have just bought a car already prepped and ready to go in the drive format i want (RWD

) and been out doing trackdays already. Not stood on the sidelines watching my mates have all the fun whilst i spend hour after hour in the garage with an angle grinder
At least i can rest in the knowledge that it will be exactly as i want it when its done
