My LPG xr4i used to do 25,000 miles between changes, and it was pretty clean when changed, as no carbon in it like you get from liquid petrol.
Thats something that doesn't often get mentioned on LPG kits. I remember my two Granadas I ran on LPG. When I changed the oil after 6000 miles, it came out virtually the same colour it went in.
