I wouldn't say the coilovers are harsh at all.
I have just put brand new suspension on my g/f astra eibach springs with bilstein dampers, and it is very good, os so Ithought until I got my rear coilovers refurbbed by AVO(£67/pair all in).
I am using these on ZERO setting on front with 2 turns on the rear, it is AWSOME, so comfy.
Comparing it to the astra it is WAY better, and comparing it to my dads mk1 mondeo GHIA, it is still WAY more comfy.
Sorry I, would not swap my AVO for any other suspension, have had KONI/SPAX/BILSTEIN/G MAX etc, nothing comes close, nowhere near it.
