Cable is also new Tab so that should be OK. Even put extra heat shield sleeve on it for that reason. Not sure of the cover make but yeah, it was at around 8k that I had the problem Euan. Does it happen to you often mate?
Did the AP one sort it for you?
It used to happen alot when the clutch was new but has not been a problem that continued and have no problems with it foras long as I can remember.
The problem is the springs in the alcon cover are not strong enough to re engage at the high revs( I think).
I was told by a very reliable source that fitting the AP cover would cure it.
