i disagree that a £1500 job would be poor, it depends on overheads as to cost,, if a large company take it on then yes it could cost more..

but i have a guy close to me, who works on his own, no overheads, does plenty of tip top mint resto jobs on mustangs and e types etc, makes panels in fibreglass,infact does almost anything you could ever want,plenty of one off mag cover cars, he takes his time, no rush, his work is absolutly first class, and he will do a basic repaint,outside,no shuts, for £1500.....his finish is 10 times better than the mainstream shops ..
