Each to there own, its all down to how you want the car to drive but just remember that running a big power zvh or cvh or zetec turbo you will want a proper gearbox box/clutch/brakes/gearbox mounts/ it all mounts up!
Never a truer word spoken!!!Getting the 300 BHP is the easy part,if expensive.But getting a gearbox to handle that power means big money or serious chassis mods to take a MTX 75!!!I've been doing tackdays in my RST for the past 14 yrs,and only recently have splashed out on a bigish BHP engine.I went 1.6 CVH,as it has a proven record for reliability and power,mated to a Stage 2+ Gearboxman box.Will be at the 2 biggest RS trackdays this year.Regards,Micky.
